Nashville, TN (PRWEB) November 13, 2009 -- Ex-musicians find second life with online company launched in a small townhouse in Nashville, TN in 2002. Mike Lewis and Bruce Fitzhugh used tip money from a local bar to start their online Merch empire. Today Zambooie lives in a 8,000 sq. ft warehouse and processes 200,000 orders a year. Now, they launched the Zambooie 3.0, the redesign of the online retailer mega store, marking another chapter in the story.
Zambooie.com got off the ground in December of 2002 when Mike Lewis former singer from “For Love Not Lisa” best known for the Movie “The Crow”, Bruce Fitzhugh guitar player for Christian Metal Band “Living Sacrifice” and Allen Frye teamed up with the vision of creating a new type of music merch company. Mike and Bruce were music industry veterans with 20 years of experience between them as performers, executive producers, marketing and A&R reps as well as artist managers. Allen was a computer guru with an extensive background in the dot-com movement.

Their vision was to create a self-sufficient merchandising company that would not be subject to outside financing and would provide a source of income for artists outside the traditional scope of a record label. They would make this happen by providing online stores, video production, tour merchandising and retail distribution for artists.
Zambooie launched a completely re-designed, re-vamped and re-organized version of their popular music retail website Zambooie.com, marking the next chapter in the company story.
Zambooie, which built their brand as a full-service merchandising company for the music industry, has also added charities to it’s list of clients with high profile causes like To Write Love On Her Arms, Rock For Health, Mocha Club and This Shirt Changes lives. In addition to these charities and diverse plethora of band products they carry, they have also brought in many popular clothing brands including Electric Zombie, and David & Goliath. This current Zambooie.com redesign marks another significant milestone in the companies growth.
