iSirona Appoints John Cooper as Chairman of the Board

Cooper is the former executive vice president of North American sales for SunGard Availability Services, where he led a sales team of 500 personnel. As executive vice president of sales and marketing and corporate officer at Eclipsys Corporation, Cooper grew revenues from $309 million to $428 million in three years, achieving a 24% year-over-year growth in new business sales. Prior to Eclipsys, Cooper was responsible for growing sales at Shared Medical Systems for more than 12 years, where he served as a corporate vice president and general manager of Healthcare Data Exchange and Internet Strategies.
