Marriott Cincinnati RiverCenter Transforms with $6.1M Renovation Project
The Marriott Cincinnati RiverCenter has just completed a $6.1M renovation that has transformed the hotels meeting spaces, guestrooms and social spaces.
Covington, KY (PRWEB) November 12, 2009 -- The Marriott Cincinnati RiverCenter is announcing the completion of their six-month, $6.1M renovation project. This venture was not just a traditional hotel overhaul, but a complete transformation of the entire property. The most exciting changes have resulted in a re-creation of this Cincinnati hotel's meeting space, guestrooms, atrium and dining venues.
The Atrium Level of Marriott Cincinnati RiverCenter has been recreated into the new Marriott Great Room concept. This concept includes several modules/zones that work independently as well as concurrently to improve the overall guest experience and encourage lobby meeting and mingling. An Arrival/Departure Zone brings the traditional front desk concept into the future with guest agents that escort visitors to the elevator while explaining the available amenities and services in the Great Room. Guests can "chill out" in the Chill Zone, a comfortable and modern lounge area with flat-screen televisions. The Social Mingle Zone presents additional opportunities for networking, small meetings and cocktail indulgence. Additional convenience can be experienced in At Your Service Zone, where guests can utilize digital reader boards, flight check-in kiosks and resolve any extra guestroom check-out fees electronically.
Marriott Cincinnati RiverCenter's dining and bar concepts feature exciting modifications revolving around a new Patio and Fire Pit venue and the new 10 West dining outlet. The Day Bar features Starbucks® coffee, sodas, pastries and whole fruit and The Night Bar offers trendy, mixology-style, custom cocktails with fresh fruit juices. The 5-10-20 menu concept focuses on culinary treats that can be shared and ready in 5, 10 or 20 minutes - a must for the busy corporate climber on the go. Additionally, a newly-created buffet breakfast design encourages Cincinnati hotel guests to relax each morning over made-to-order omelettes.
Guestrooms at Marriott Cincinnati RiverCenter are redesigned for the tech-savvy traveler. The "Check-in and Plug-in" concept brings guestrooms to a whole new level of technology, with 32-inch LCD high-definition televisions and the industry's only digital plug-in panel. The LCD high-definition televisions and plug-in panels will enable guests, who frequently travel with a host of digital devices, to:
| | - Connect their laptop to the monitor so they can work, surf the web, play DVDs and video games in high-definition
- Split the screen to watch TV and work on their laptop simultaneously
- Fill their room with their own music play lists from MP3 players and other digital music players through the system's 25-watt speakers
- Play videos from camcorders and view pictures from digital cameras.
