Glenelg, MD (PRWEB) November 12, 2009 -- TimberSure announces the recent addition of a logging-insurance veteran to its underwriting team. Holly Haddad-McDade has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry, and her most recent experience was with Bituminous Insurance Companies where she underwrote a $5,000,000 book of logging business. Vice President Jeremiah O’Donovan commented, “Holly has already proven to be a great asset to our organization and will help us to provide additional products for customers as we continue to innovate in the timber products insurance arena.”
Ms. Hadad-McDade has underwritten policies in all 50 states, with a focus on trucking, logging, workers compensation, and large heavy casualty. Born into the insurance industry, Ms. Hadad-McDade entered the business in her teens working at her father’s agency, and majored in insurance in college. She has worked in nearly every aspect of insurance: from sales and marketing for agencies, brokerages, and insurance companies; to underwriting and management. Ms. Hadad-McDade rose quickly through the ranks, writing trucking policies at Crum & Forster and managing a group of underwriters within the MGA (managing general agent) Program at the Victor O. Schinnerer Company. “With each promotion and advancement, I found myself further and further removed from the public and the face-to-face writing of individual accounts that I really enjoyed in my early years in the business. That’s why I’m so happy to be with TimberSure, working with the agents as the MGA underwriter, and helping them write the business,” commented Ms. Hadad-McDade.
