Alan Nunley Writes Book, Revelation Revealed The Solution

Alan Nunley writes book, Revelation Revealed the Solution

Odessa, TX (PRWEB) November 13, 2009 -- Holy Fire Publishing (www.christianpublish.com ) releases Revelation Revealed the Solution (Paperback, US$22.50, ISBN# 978-1-60383-189-5). Alan Nunley explains the mysteries of Revelation.

Alan Nunley’s book, Revelation Revealed the Solution, covers Biblical end-of-time topics, including the mystery surrounding the number 666 that has intrigued humanity for two thousand years. Nunley lays out a list of “seven Biblical clues” relating to the anti-Christ, such as, What is the anti-Christ’s nationality? What are his true intentions? How will he finance his attempt to conquer the world? What happens when the Jewish nation rebuilds the temple?

Nunley asks, “What if someone actually solved the 2000 year-old mystery of the Book of Revelation? Revelation, written by the apostle John in 95 AD, is difficult to comprehend because the events and chapters were not written in chronological order. Therefore, it seems that one verse makes perfect sense but the next one doesn’t, if read sequentially. Revelation Revealed the Solution puts the events in correct chronological order following a timeline that enables everyone to understand the prophecies of Jesus Christ.”

Nunley describes two main obstacles to understanding Revelation. First, certain verses have symbolic meaning and others have literal meaning. So, how does the reader know the difference? Nunley suggests reading Revelation in context with the Bible’s other books. He explains: “In John 6:53-55, ‘Jesus said to them, ‘I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.’ Is Jesus Christ saying to eat of his body? No, he is talking about the believer’s relationship with him and eternal life, which is symbolic in this context…The second reason Revelation is difficult to understand is that it was not written in chronological order. For example, take your favorite novel, cut out the sentences, put them in a box, and scatter them on the ground. Now try to read this novel by picking up individual sentences and try to comprehend what the novel says. Of course, this would be impossible. To understand Revelation, we must establish an event timeline. How do we accomplish this? All verses in Revelation fall into one of two categories, (1) historical verses, or (2) prophetic verses. The apostle John wrote Revelation around 95 AD. Therefore, the year 95 AD is ground zero…All verses in reference to events that occur on or before 95 AD are historical, and all verses that refer to events subsequent to 95 AD are prophetic.”

“How is it possible that a man, who has no formal religious background and has not been to seminary, have the ability and knowledge to solve the mysteries of the Book of Revelation? I have always been amazed by the word of God. The Bible is not only a great book from a religious perspective, but also from a historical perspective. The Bible is the greatest historical document ever written. I have studied the Bible for over thirty years and have read the Book of Revelation at least twenty times, but never fully understood its content…After reading Revelation again from chapter one through chapter twenty-two in its normal sequence, I asked God to give me wisdom to understand Revelation’s true meaning. I began to read again and came to Revelation 12:7-8, where Satan was thrown out of heaven. Why would God put one of the first events in Revelation in the middle of his book? … I began to study Revelation, again, with the verses in their correct chronological order, and I could not stop writing. Throughout this process, I felt I was taking dictation and while writing had a burning peace in me I could not explain.” —Alan Nunley
