The company was founded by two veteran entrepreneurs in marketing, technology and managed services. Sean Branagan, CEO and “eVangelist” of Digital Vertical, is a recognized expert in interactive marketing, and president of Communigration, Inc., a technology marketing firm serving companies worldwide. He is also an adjunct professor at Syracuse University. Scott Matukas is president and COO of the new company, and is former EVP and CFO of Broadview Networks, a $500 million telecommunications and managed services provider headquartered in the NYC area, and more recently former president of USADatanet, an Upstate NY-based telecommunications provider.
Digital Vertical already has customers and is actively selling its services in target verticals, such as: Industrial Distribution, BioScience and Medical Devices, Embedded Systems, Healthcare and Professional Services. The company plans to expand quickly into Software, Cleantech, and other verticals in the coming months. To each industry vertical, Digital Vertical brings systems, tools and expertise in search engine and social media marketing, coupled with the knowledge of “industry mavens” who direct marketing and positioning efforts and provide insights for customers.
