When Nathan Batalion founded http://www.Raw-Wisdom.com, he wanted to promote both natural healing and a stronger defense of the environment by introducing a different core worldview. Batalion believes that society needs a top-down and inside out approach to solve major health and environmental problems.
"We want to educate people about a different core understanding of life that makes it easier to heal ourselves and nurture our surroundings," said Batalion. "In order to help others, we've created both an online and physical community promoting this healing view, including information on holistic healing, raw food diets, organics, alternative energy and much more."
At the Raw-Wisdom community's website, visitors will find a wide range of products and services related to achieving the community's goals. The most unique feature of the website is that it provides information on its philosophy of 'raw wisdom', a phenomenon Batalion explained.
"We are all wired with two main inner ways of seeing. In the field of psychology, we call these right and left-brain dominant. When the left brain predominates, we sense everything as being separate," said Batalion. "When the right brain predominates, we experience the world in an opposite light, as an ocean of connected consciousness where everything appears whole and potentially healed."
Batalion sees the modern worldview as left-brain dominant, and the negative effects include the spread of pollution, proliferation of atomic weapons and health epidemics that resist cure. The solution is a brain polarity shift, or a shift to a right-brain dominant society that upholds a more life nurturing worldview. "The phrase 'raw-wisdom' refers to a 'raw' or direct view of nature, and one that also supports 'raw' or living food diets," said Batalion.
Batalion further emphasizes that opposing genetic engineering is a vital part of the bigger picture, and that the left-brain dominant worldview threatens the sustainability of life on earth. Batalion plans to highlight and explain these topics on his new blog at http://www.HealingTalks.com.
Batalion's overall goal is to create and expand the Raw-Wisdom community, both online and physically, which he believes will have a profound effect on the world.
