Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 17, 2009 -- The American Astronautical Society (AAS) proudly presents IMAGINE '09 on Dec. 2 and 3 at the NASA Johnson Space Center Gilruth Facility in Houston, Texas. A space conference like no other, IMAGINE '09 will explore remarkable ideas making a difference now that could transform the space enterprise. Some of the world's most creative, productive, and compelling individuals will actively engage attendees, providing knowledge and inspiration and encouraging breakthroughs in thought. More than a conference, IMAGINE '09 is a cultural event, designed both to spark imagination and unleash it.
IMAGINE '09 will explore ideas that range from barn-storming the space frontier to revolution through competition, from innovation by breaking (the right) rules to using rockets to teach high school, from the private astronaut transformation to public engagement in 2010, from NASA as the next Google to myths that shape our world
Leading the conference will be CEO's, entrepreneurs, an Academy Award nominee, astronauts, scholars, the creator of Disney's Animal Kingdom, and many others. Completely unlike any space conference before it, IMAGINE '09 empowers audience members to be "contributors from the floor", encouraging questions and providing opportunities for direct dialogue with some of the world's most exciting thought leaders.
