The nation's utilities are woefully unprepared for the advent of electric transportation, a situation highlighted in this week's Electrification Roadmap announcement from a coalition of industry leaders that includes Nissan President and CEO Carlos Ghosn and Frederick W. Smith, Chairman, President and CEO of FedEx Corp. That situation is also the impetus for the all-new Electric Transportation channel launched by Smart Grid News, a leading Web resource for today's utility professionals.
