San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 23, 2009
TeleResults, a market leader in the design and development of world-class electronic medical record (EMR) solutions for transplant-related care, today announced the successful completion of its User Conference 2009, which took place on October 19th and 20th at New York Presbyterian Hospital Transplant Program. This dynamic conference attracted more than 60 participants, including users, clinical and operational professionals, and other interested parties from more than 20 transplant centers across the country.
“This year, we saw a 15 percent increase in attendance,” said Ghassan Khabbaz, President of TeleResults. “We are delighted by the great response, and strongly believe that this is an indicator of rapidly growing interest in software for transplants and related medical procedures.”
The two-day conference gave TeleResults the opportunity to introduce exciting new features such as a Liver Malignancy module, a Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) solution, and a new TR Mobile capability, which provides remote access to transplant patient data via smartphones. The event also enabled attendees to collaborate and share ideas with key TeleResults team members, including managers and developers, on such important topics as functionality, workflows, improving utilization, and potential solution enhancements. Workshops were held to address specific uses of the TeleResults application, while break-out sessions covered report writing, Web-based features, and UNOS reporting.
“Providing our users and our staff members with a forum for direct and open interaction allows us to work closely with our clients to propose new developments that will help them meet their most urgent requirements,” Khabbaz added. “Additionally, because we were able to host this year’s event at a site like New York Presbyterian Hospital, we were able to offer a broader range of workshops than ever before.”
The TeleResults User Conference is an annual tradition, facilitating ongoing communication and idea exchange ideas among centers, and with the TeleResults team. Next year’s conference will take place in San Francisco, and will be hosted in conjunction with the University of California San Francisco Medical Center.
