The Grand Hotel Announces Schedule For Holiday Festivities on Alabama's Gulf Shore

The décor of the hotel itself, with a natural 18-foot Christmas tree, is awe-inspiring, and the schedule of events promises to be filled with Christmas spirit. Starting Dec. 22, the Alabama Gulf Shore resort staff will be recruiting younger guests to help find Santa’s missing Elf and to create Christmas ornaments and snowflakes. A fireside reading of T’was the Night Before Christmas on Wednesday evening might inspire Mrs. Claus and one of Santa’s trusty reindeer to make a guest appearance. Also on Dec. 23, General Manager David Clark cordially invites guests to the Fairhope, AL, hotel’s traditional holiday reception located in the lobby featuring holiday treats and beverages.

Decorate cookies, take carriage rides and board the Christmas train on Christmas Day. A Grand Bonfire closes the day and allows families to reminisce over the day’s events while eating s’mores and drinking hot cocoa.
