Recently AIS donated computer hardware and software to the Montreal-based Armenian Relief Society of Canada (A.R.S. Inc.). The software donation includes both ALCIE Financials and Donation Management Suite licenses. "This package will help ARS to better administer donations, provide donors with revenue compliant donation receipts, and expand its activities through the use of an information technology that has benefited commercial and government enterprises at all levels," affirms ARS Chairperson, Anna Boulgarian.
ALCIE's Donation Management Suite was conceived when one of AIS's directors was asked whether he could design an easy-to-use system for tracking donations. "What began as a one-off project for a local organization quickly turned into an opportunity to fulfill the needs of a largely under-serviced sector", explains Samuel Tadevosian, Senior Director of R&D at AIS. "There are many small-sized, not-for-profit organizations right here in Montreal that could benefit from our software. Our primary goals are to, first, develop membership and fund-raising management software solutions that respond to the diverse needs of local Montreal organizations and, second, to expand the reach of our solutions into small-sized organizations across Canada and the United States."
