Iraqi Air Force Commander to Present at Iraq Aviation and Defense Summit in Washington This December

Iraqi Air Force Commander Lt. General Anwer Ahmed confirmed to speak at New-Fields' IADS

New-Fields Exhibitions, organizers of the Iraq Aviation and Defense Summit (IADS), announced today that Iraqi Air Force Commander Lt. General Anwer Ahmed has confirmed to speak at the summit. Lt. Gen. Anwer Ahmed will present challenges and opportunities in the Iraqi defense sector, answer questions from delegates, and conduct one-on-one meetings at IADS, a two-day event on December 10-11, 2009 in Washington, D.C.

Lt. Gen. Anwer Ahmed had served as Iraqi Military Inspector. His flag assignments included being manager of the aviation safety for the Iraqi Air Force, Commander of the Army Air Training Command, and Commanding General of the 4th Army Air Command-Baiji. He has received 10 Personal Military Decoration -- six for Bravery, two for High Deserving, and two for Service.
