Applied Technology Holdings, Inc., and RescueTrek, Inc. today announced that they have signed a letter of intent through which Applied Technology Holdings will license their patented childMotion™ data gathering technology, to RescueTrek to deliver a children’s wireless monitoring aid. “The monitoring aid will minimize risk to the child while maximizing lifestyle for the parent and child,” said Angela Henderson, CEO of RescueTrek Corporation.

“Through the joint cooperation of RescueTrek and Applied Technology Holdings childMotion™ technology, we will be able to present a unique safety monitoring solution that will improve the parent and child’s lifestyle, with wireless monitoring devices that attach to a body or garment. In addition to creating a safer environment for the child, certain biometric, location, and motion data derived from the sensors can be wirelessly transmitted and stored in convenient locations. Physicians, teachers, or parents can also remotely access the child’s real time information.
