Skanadario, a decorative plumbing, hardware, and appliance showroom in Frisco, TX, released its annual holiday gift guide at a “Holiday in the Showroom” event in the showroom last week. “We’re always excited to put together the gift guide with exciting and unique products, as well as and throw a great party to launch the guide,” exclaimed Vice President Jeffrey Goodman.

“Skanadario strives to find unique products, great accessories, and items that our customers may not know we carry,” remarked Scott Cavender, Skanadario’s Showroom Manager. “Every year we put a few surprises in. We try to offer a lot of products that don’t require installation because they can make better gifts,” added Cavender. “But, plenty of people still buy products or gift cards for their upcoming kitchen and bathroom remodels.”

The main features of the gift guide include the following:

This year’s guide leads with The Big Green Egg smoker/grill. “Skanadario’s recent newsletter profiled a customer and his Big Green Egg,” said Goodman. “Ever since, we’ve received a lot of positive feedback and interest in the Big Green Egg, so we made it the first item on the list.”

This year’s most unique entry is the Texas-shaped sink from Elkay. Elkay recently introduced this stainless steel undermount bar-sink for the Texas market. “Only in Texas would you find a sink shaped like the state,” mentioned Cavender. “Texans are proud of their state and passionate about displaying their enthusiasm, making this the perfect item for a game room bar sink.”

To take a customer’s outdoor kitchen upscale, Skanadario offers Viking outdoor products. The outdoor kitchen products range from grills and smokers, to refrigerators and stainless steel cabinets.

Nothing says true love like a vacuum cleaner. The new Miele S7 series upright vacuums are powerful, quiet, built to last, and available at Skanadario. “If you do the vacuuming too, then it really is a great gift,” quipped Cavender.

The guide concludes with many accessory categories including mirrors and vanities, bathroom accessories, cabinet hardware, curved shower rods, showerheads, decorative shower squeegees, stone tableware and garden lanterns, glass shelving, and kitchen accessories.

“The special holiday party is our way to say thanks to our customers,” said Cavender. “It’s also a chance for us to invite builders, designers, and homeowners from the community,” added Goodman. “Guests who attended the party ate hors d'oeuvres prepared in the working Miele oven and steam oven in the showroom. Guests were also the first ones to receive copies of the holiday gift guide and see products featured in it. “The party really is a time for guests to visit our beautiful showroom and enjoy themselves,” concluded Cavender.
