IAITAM’s support of IT Asset Management Awareness Month will provide organizations with educational content for the professional ITAM, their colleagues and management teams.
Suffield, OH (Vocus) December 2, 2009
With December deemed IT Asset Management Awareness Month, the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers, Inc. (IAITAM) has prepared complimentary daily educational sessions, weekly surveys, industry partnered web seminars and giveaways throughout the month to educate the global ITAM community on best practices in IT Asset Management.
IAITAM, industry experts and Provider Members have joined forces to bring about a month’s worth of educational tracks to increase an organization’s knowledge base concerning the importance of IT Asset Management to the organization. As part of this effort, IAITAM has generated downloadable webinars delving into the relationships and dependencies within an ITAM program as well as a weekly live show on the MyTechnologyLawyer.com radio show hosted by Scott Draughon and raffles including the IAITAM Best Practice Library! Provider Members such as LANDesk Software, Directions on Microsoft and Converge are contributing on topics ranging from licensing, asset disposition liabilities and data center disciplines.
“IAITAM’s support of IT Asset Management Awareness Month will provide organizations with educational content for the professional ITAM, their colleagues and management teams,” said Barb Rembiesa, President of IAITAM. “As an organization, we focus our efforts on best practice methodologies, and for December, have translated key elements of those practices into formats that will be advantageous across the enterprise.”
