Revolutionary new cell phones that direct microwave signal transmissions away from users will be available in early 2010 from Aerius International Ltd.

“Among other benefits, Aerius cell phones virtually eliminate health risks associated with long-term use of wireless phones recently reported by the World Health Organization.” said Bill Luxon, AERIUS INTERNATIONAL LTD., CEO.

Revolutionary new cell phones that direct microwave signal transmissions away from users will be available in early 2010 from Aerius International Ltd. The technology was recently honored with a Green Technology Award in wireless communication from Frost & Sullivan.

Cell phones use microwaves to communicate and according to Bill Luxon, Aerius CEO, "50% or more of those microwaves are absorbed by users. FCC tests show Aerius technology equipped phones eliminated 99.4% of cell phone microwaves absorbed by users below the US limit of 1.6 W/Kg."

Tests by T-Mobile USA and Rogers Wireless in Canada also show Aerius equipped phones increased signals available to networks 100% to 300%, which according to Joe Davis, Aerius VP Manufacturing, "would reduce dropped calls up to 60%. Another benefit is 2 to 4 more hours of battery life," said Davis.

According to Frost & Sullivan’s Green Technology award, widespread deployment of Aerius phones would save carriers up to 5 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per cell site per year, an added benefit for carrier profitability and the world’s environment.

"Because Aerius virtually eliminates SAR, or the specific absorption rate of cell phone radiation by users, it virtually eliminates health risks associated with long-term use of wireless phones recently reported by the World Health Organization and others, allowing everyone to use their phones worry-free," said Luxon.

"To benefit consumers worldwide independent carrier and lab test reports regarding Aerius phone performance have been posted in multiple languages on the Aerius website, goaerius.com," reported Chuck Closterman, Aerius VP International Sales.
