Airline's first aircraft with Star Alliance livery unveiled to Industry's Top CEOS at Newark Liberty Airport

We've painted over 650 aircraft for Continental, and this is another proud milestone for us both

Leading Edge Aviation Services (LEAS), the largest commercial aircraft painting company in the world, announced a major new milestone today with long-term partner Continental Airlines. The company completed the airline's first A/C 120 to don the Star Alliance livery at an induction event at Newark Liberty Airport. The aircraft was proudly unveiled to all 25 airline member CEOs along with international media, who gathered to witness Continental's transition to the Star Alliance Network.

"We've painted over 650 aircraft for Continental, and this is another proud milestone for us both," said Mike Manclark, CEO, LEAS. "It's remarkable to see how this airline has grown over the years, and how Leading Edge has grown with them. We are proud to showcase our work at such a world-class event, and are looking forward to working with Continental during their transition to the Star Alliance Network."

Unveiled in dramatic fashion behind a hangar-wide velvet curtain, the A/C 120 was painted and prepped at Leading Edge's Amarillo, TX facility, which has been engineered to handle virtually every aircraft in the Continental fleet.
