Snack Food Manufacturer Expands Team to Support Growing Product Lines

Classic Foods, North American manufacturer of all-natural snack foods, including well-known national brand Kettle Classics® Potato Chips, has expanded its team by appointing Sam Kilgore as Director of Innovation, based at their Southern California Operations in Irvine.

“Sam will maintain our principles of all natural and tasteful snacks. He will also have a brand-new R&D facility at his disposal, so we are excited to see what new ideas he and his team will create,” says Florencio Cuetara, Classic Foods President/ CEO.

Sam holds a Master’s degree in food science and his professional background includes experience doing research and development at Del Monte.

“As a new member of the Innovation team here at Classic Foods, I take comfort in the fact that there is already a long company history in product development”, says Sam. “As far back as the founding of the company, there has been a focus on making snacks that are simple and delicious. We are also known throughout the industry for our snack production technology. My job is to learn from those who came before me, and continue the traditions of Classic Foods. I certainly look forward to the challenge.”
