5000 motorcycles, three hours and over 30 miles around L.A. This is the kick off for the first annual Prosurvival.net Toys for Tots Motorcycle Ride Sunday December 13th, 2009.

Prosurvival.net will be hosting its first annual ride on behalf of the Salvation Army and the United States Marine Corps on Sunday December 13th, 2009. Celebrities such as movie actress Cassandra Hepburn, and motor sports radio personality Kerri Kasem will be attending. Late night television star and long time motor sports enthusiast Jay Leno may make an appearance and is expected to be riding along with 5000 riders from all over California.

All riders attending the “Toys for Tots” ride are being asked to bring at least one $10 toy for the kids that will be donated to children on behalf of the Salvation Army and the US Marine Corps. You can sign up at http://www.prosurvival.net/page/toys-for-tots. There is a $5 donation to enter the ride.

The “Love Ride” which is a one of the largest charity motorcycle rides in California was canceled this year due to the economy, so the riders of California wanted to pick up the slack and not let the kids down. Organizers felt a majority of riders would like to have a charity ride event similar to the Love Ride so have decided to organize the Toys for Tots ride and give back this holiday season. “This ride is all about the kids. It’s about helping out the needy in this economy. All are welcome to attend!” says ride organizer Sam Najarian
