Alan Kraft, president of Media Horizons Management, http://www.mediahorizons.com, has been selected to receive the Individual Achievement Award from the DMA Insert Media Council in recognition of his years of leadership and innovation in the field of insert media.
Kraft will be honored at the DMA Insert Media Council's annual Roast and Toast Luncheon, to be held Dec. 8, 2009, at the Battery Gardens Restaurant in New York City. Media Horizons Management is the insert media division of direct marketing agency Media Horizons, Inc.
Kraft is being recognized for his reputation in the industry, his contributions and his leadership qualities, according to Jeff Holland, a member of the Operating Committee of the DMA Insert Media Council and Senior Vice President of Alternative Sampling at The Magna Group, an advertising agency in Fairlawn, N.J.
"For many years, Alan has been actively involved in educating the direct marketing industry through his involvement in conferences, trade shows and other events," Holland said. "Among other things, this award recognizes him for his creative use of innovative and unique formats and non-traditional insert channels. He is extremely well-respected throughout the industry, having founded and developed Media Horizons Management into the leader it is today in insert media."
