Montreal, Canada (Vocus) December 3, 2009
Selected for the innovative design of their ‘Ozé’ (daring) heat-shrink sleeve label, IMS is honoured to be part of the finalists of the HP Digital Labels & Packaging Awards Contest 2009.
The HP Indigo Digital Labels & Packaging Awards Contest recognises customers from around the world for their commitment to excellence and innovation in digital printing. HP launched the competition in 2007 to promote quality and ingenuity in the digital label and package printing market. Entries represent the distinctiveness of their company, prove their progressive printing capabilities and showcase an impressive execution of a digital production challenge.
IMS is a first tier provider of custom high-impact labels and labelling solutions (including heat-shrink sleeve labels), and is proud to have its designs be internationally recognized with this prestigious nomination. Over 270 candidates entered the contest but only a handful made it to the finals. The finalists were presented at LabelExpo Europe 2009 in Brussels. Almost 25,000 visitors for 125 countries visited the event, which is considered to be the largest label show on Earth.
“Product brand owners, designers and label and packaging converters are growing in creative directions based on the outstanding quality and production flexibility HP Indigo offers,” said Alon Bar-Shany, vice president and general manager, Indigo division, HP. “The end result is that the industry is seeing more and more top-quality labels and packaging work produced with digital – especially the winning entries showcased in this year’s contest.”
