In conjunction with the Christmas season, Roundedcube wants to give their services, $20,000 worth, as a gift. Determining which organization to give that gift to, however, will require the help of the public.

“Basically, the idea is to do what we do best in order to help one of these great organizations do what they do best… really helping those in need in our community.” Aaron Branson, VP, Operations & Marketing, Roundedcube.

Interactive agency, Roundedcube, Inc. (http://www.roundedcube.com), in an effort to give back to the community, is asking St. Louisans to nominate local non-profit charities that could greatly benefit by better leveraging Web technologies. Roundedcube is offering its own expertise pro bono to help a charity achieve its mission and better serve the community. “Basically, the idea is to do what we do best in order to help one of these great organizations do what they do best… really helping those in need in our community,” said Aaron Branson, Vice President, Operations & Marketing, Roundedcube. “We see a lot of great work being done out there and just want to give one of them [local charity] a website and web strategy that is reflective of that and helps them do even more.”

In conjunction with the Christmas season, Roundedcube wants to give their services, $20,000 worth, as a gift. Determining which organization to give that gift to, however, will require the help of the public. The company is accepting nominations online at http://www.facebook.com/roundedcube.

Determining the recipient of this gift will be done immediately after the holiday season, with an announcement on January 5, 2010. All nominations are due by Christmas. “We imagine picking the charity will be the tough part. We’re definitely not only going to look at the value of each organization’s efforts, but really which one can we make the biggest difference for. The organization’s vision for the web and reason for the nomination will be a major factor too,” added Marco Tana, President and CEO, Roundedcube.

Also stated is that the $20,000 is not a limit to what the agency will provide. If the chosen organization wants to do more than what is allotted, the amount can be considered a credit toward a larger project. Roundedcube has done pro-bono projects in the past for St. Louis non-profits, most recently completing one in October 2009. However, this is the beginning of what the agency plans to be an annual event.
