SunGard has won two categories in the third annual Banking Technology Reader’s Choice Awards.

Banking Technology's Reader's Choice Awards are always very important to us. Our success in these awards is clear demonstration of the strong relationships we develop with all our customers, and of the value our solutions bring to their businesses.

SunGard has won two categories in the third annual Banking Technology Reader’s Choice Awards. SunGard’s Front Arena, a global capital markets solution that delivers position control across multiple asset classes and business lines, was chosen as “Best Trade Processing Product”, while Adaptiv, a suite of solutions for enterprise-wide risk management, was voted “Best Risk Management Product”. This is the third year in which SunGard’s solutions have been category winners.

The Banking Technology Reader’s Choice Awards are based purely on the votes by the publication’s 11,000-plus readership. Readers were asked to nominate their choice of vendors and products across a range of categories.

Dan Barnes, online editor of Banking Technology, said: “The past 18 months have seen a marked upturn in the stress placed on both risk management and trading technologies. Our Reader’s Choice awards continue to have a large following from within the industry and so provide a good barometer, not only of which suppliers are making the cut, but specifically which systems are delivering results.”

Juerg Hunziker, president of SunGard’s Front Arena and Adaptiv business units, said: “Banking Technology’s Reader’s Choice Awards are always very important to us. Our success in these awards is clear demonstration of the strong relationships we develop with all our customers, and of the value our solutions bring to their businesses.”
