Global digital marketing and technology agency LBi (http://www.lbiiconnicholson.com) today announced the appointment of Cedric Devitt as the newly-created Executive Creative Director. Devitt, who will be based out of LBi IconNicholson’s Manhattan office, will lead the agency’s creative department, drive conceptual thinking for the agency’s flagship clients and continue to integrate its world class production skills in the US marketplace. LBi IconNicholson Managing Director Judith Carr made the announcement.
Born and raised in Dublin, Devitt moved to the US after attending Trinity College. Prior to LBi, he spent nearly a decade shaping the creative vision at Tribal DBB. He began his career at Berlin Cameron Doyle and spent a significant amount of time at Grey Advertising. Devitt has shaped campaigns for a diverse selection of brands, including: Sony; Best Buy; Hershey’s; Neutrogena, Cuervo, Ketel One and H&R Block. He has been honored by many award shows, including: The One Show; NY Festivals, MIXX awards and the Cannes Short List. A music enthusiast, Cedric co-founded the US Air Guitar Championships and produced Air Guitar Nation!, a critically acclaimed feature documentary about the rise of competitive air guitar in the US.
