For the second year running, Bell Direct, the online share trading company that's revolutionising direct share investing, has won ‘Cheapest Online Broker’ in the prestigious Money magazine Best Of The Best Awards for 2010.
The win, announced at a Money magazine gala luncheon in Sydney, and accepted by Bell Direct chief executive officer Arnie Selvarajah, cements the company's position as the most competitively-priced online share trading company in Australia.
Commenting on the award, Selvarajah said it was further recognition of the competition Bell Direct has brought to the online share trading sector since the company began operations in November 2007.
"We are now more than two years old and we continue to show that we are a genuine and credible competitor in online share trading," Selvarajah said.
The second Money magazine award follows on from the double win in the ‘Cheapest Online Broker’ category in AFR Smart Investor Blue Ribbon Awards for 2008 and 2009. Earlier this year Bell Direct was also awarded Canstar Cannex’s 5 stars for ‘Outstanding Value’ in the ‘investor’ and ‘active trader’ categories.
"We'll continue to offer our customers the most competitive brokerage rates in online share trading, but our price advantage is really just one of many factors that have helped Bell Direct become successful," Selvarajah said.
He points to Bell Direct's trading platform which offers the most advanced technology available in the online trading market and which is central to the company's ability to pass on the most competitive pricing to its customer base.
"Because we've developed such innovative and superior technology, Bell Direct clients also enjoy unique, customer-friendly online trading features and resources," Selvarajah said.
Recent product innovations from Bell Direct include nine new trading tools under ‘bellintell’ (including some Australian firsts), free conditional orders and a unique two second placement guarantee.
"We have plans to introduce a number of product and service innovations in 2010, all designed to ensure Bell Direct customers continue to enjoy the best possible share trading and wealth creation resources at a competitive price," Selvarajah said.
