"This was such a nice event for the wives and just goes to show the tremendous support our military has.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 4, 2009
Today Robbins Brothers , The Engagement Ring Store™ in Riverside, CA was packed with ladies whose boyfriends, fiancés or husbands currently serve in the military, some stationed locally at Camp Pendleton and others as far away as Afghanistan. Robbins Brothers, known for helping soldiers overseas create a memorable engagement experience from selecting the ring to planning the marriage proposal, decided to salute the women who love, support and cherish the men on the front line.
Ladies were served with a continental breakfast including delicious fruit, muffins and mimosas while they enjoyed relaxing manicures and massages. They were even delivered diamond rings to try on as their nails dried. “It was the perfect way to start my morning!” commented Anny Ooppapan, who just relocated to Riverside before her boyfriend left for Iraq days ago. “Seth and I plan to get engaged soon, so my favorite part was checking out the beautiful rings and talking to other ladies about their significant other.”
Robbins Brothers also hosted a Bouquet Toss in which one lucky lady, Kassandra Cordova whose husband is in the Army in Afghanistan, won a $500 shopping spree to the store. “He’s the absolute best. I’m going to buy him a men’s wedding ring with the certificate,” stated Kassandra. “This was such a nice event for the wives and just goes to show the tremendous support our military has. A special thanks to Robbins Brothers for having such a big heart!” All of the ladies in attendance departed with a gift bag that included beautiful sterling silver earrings from the company.
“It’s the least we can do to show our concern and appreciation. Our troops sacrifice daily to protect our freedom and we’re grateful,” said Cammy Webber, general manager of the Riverside store. “We also realize that many of these brave men have women who love them unconditionally and take care of home while they’re away. The Pamper Party was designed specifically to salute these women.”
