NextWindow, the world’s leading provider of optical touch screens for desktop PCs, monitors and large-format displays, today announced that it’s been named the fastest-growing technology company in New Zealand by global consulting and financial services firm, Deloitte, in its 2009 Technology Asia Pacific Fast 500 list published this week.

This accomplishment follows the October announcement that NextWindow is the third fastest-growing company in any business category in all of New Zealand. According to the 2009 Deloitte New Zealand Fast 50 list, NextWindow had 828% revenue growth over the past three years. NextWindow is one of only two companies to have made the Deloitte New Zealand Fast 50 list four times in a row.

NextWindow’s growth is tied to increasing global demand for Touch PCs. All the leading computer and monitor makers have or will launch new Touch PCs, and many including Dell, Medion, NEC and Sony are using NextWindow touch screens. NextWindow is consistently chosen for its leadership in the area of optical touch screen technology, which the company has been developing for nine years. Optical is widely regarded as the best technology for PCs and monitors with touch screens 17” and above.

“This is an exciting achievement that never gets old,” said Al Monro, CEO at NextWindow. “That the accomplishment is based on revenue growth reflects the strength of our technology and the success we’ve had with customers—not to mention widespread consumer interest in Touch PCs.”
