GL Communications Inc. announced today the release of T1 E1 Analyzer Software Version 5.28 with new applications and enhancements. Briefing the news to the media, Mr. Vijay Kulkarni, CEO of the company said, "Our T1 E1 Analysis suite of products provides comprehensive analysis and emulation capabilities for voiceband analysis and signaling protocol analysis. Two new applications introduced into the T1 E1 version 5.28 are: Call Data Records and Voice Band Analyzer”. He added, “Call Data Records (CDR) is an optional application. It works with CCA (Call Capture and Analysis) and VBA (Voice Band Analyzer) applications and generates Call Summary and Call Detail reports. CDR provides comprehensive information on each and every call occurring on T1 E1 lines.
The Voice Band Analyzer is an analysis tool for monitoring voice band network traffic. It can host different analysis modules for monitoring speech and noise levels, line echo, and acoustic echo. The VBA application can now be invoked from T1/E1 Analyzer – Special Applications menu or from command line”.
Mr. Kulkarni further added, "In addition to the above new applications, a host of significant enhancements were introduced to the following products: MAPS - T1E1, Multiple Call Capture, Protocol Analyzer and Windows Client server and other applications". He added, “The addition of the two new applications and the enhancements to the existing applications of the T1 E1 Analyzer product suite provides significant value addition to T1 E1 testing needs of customers".
A brief summary of the enhancements in the T1 E1 Analyzer - 5.28 Release are:
•Support for Vista and Windows 7.0 drivers for Universal Cards
•Bit Error Rate testing can now be performed in 56kbps mode on all T1 cards
•VBA enhancement includes Traffic Classification
•MAPS - T1E1
oMAPS - GSM Abis - The application is now capable of creating GSM (TRAU) sessions and generating/receiving traffic over the created session based on the codec type.
oTraffic Options in MAPS - The following commands have been implemented to allow traffic actions
•Enhancements to Multiple Call Capture, Goldwave software
oThe SS7 Analyzer enhanced with SS7 CDR improvements that allows direct SSP connections and simplifies data link configuration
oThe application TRAU ToolBox™ has been enhanced with several features.
