Geoteaming today announced that it has opened Seattle’s First High-Tech Holiday Tour called Geotouring. Using a GPS, a Pocket PC and a digital camera, groups of up to 8 people navigate their way to the best holiday sights and sounds, creating life long memories all in 2 hours.
“We took all the best locations in Downtown Seattle and used technology to create a really fun tour,” said John Chen, Geoteaming’s CEO. “Only in Seattle do you have this mix of high-tech and outdoors to create this much affordable fun.”
Geotouring starts at Pacific Place on 600 Pine St. on the 4th floor. After checking out equipment, you use the GPS and the aerial map to find your way through the city. When you get there, you use the Pocket PC for photographic and written clues to answer a question. Finally, you use the digital camera to take a photo of you and your team at the site. During this tour, you’ll see the best that Seattle has to offer, including hidden treasures such as:
The Teddy Bear Suite – a suite in a major hotel that has 100s of Teddy Bears and Books.
1200lbs of Gingerbread Houses – artists have created these major houses in the form of major movies
Indoor Snow – A high-end shopping center creates snow and a musical show every night at 6pm.
And More – with all the best trees, decorations and displays, there are many more treasures to discover.
