The Global Search feature makes it faster to find things in the database. For example, if a user wants to look up a contact, project, they can now simply start typing part of the name in the global search box and all records in the database that match that name will show up. Then, all they have to do is double click the record to open it up.
"The Global Search is our own internal Google", touts Ron Ause, Workamajig's director of marketing. "When our clients ask for something, we say 'No Workamajig Problem at all! And if they have a complaint about Workamajig, all they need to do is ask, and it's gone in no time! That's why we created the Visual Imort."
As for the Visual Import, Creative Manager's importing capabilities were good, but not easy. The old way required users to meticulously format their import files with columns with specific headers and column order. The new visual import in Workamajig lets users easily pick a file to import and simply drag and drop the mapping of which columns go where. This feature has been rolled out for companies, contacts, leads and opportunities and is the new standard that will soon replace all import options.
Building on recent updates for iPhone and Safari for Mac & PC, Workamajig continues to improve their Advertising Agency Software with every quarterly release.
Commenting on the new Mass Update feature, Ause says, "Have you ever wanted to change several records at a time? For example, you may want to assign a group of contacts to one of your salespeople or update the status of a group of projects. Workamajig now includes a mass update feature in many parts of the system that lets you quickly accomplish these tasks."
