HealthLine Systems recently announced the signing of its seventy-fifth Software as a Service client; continues to lead the healthcare provider credentialing software market place.

HealthLine Systems recently announced the signing of its seventy-fifth Software as a Service client. HealthLine has provided it’s suite of software solutions in a hosted (Saas) environment since 2007 supporting over 500 client users and processed over 13 million transactions.

“We are currently supporting organizations of various sizes at our state-of-the-art off site location that was significantly upgraded during the first quarter of 2009”, said Dan Littrell, HealthLine CEO. “We are pleased to be able to offer our clients a secure, high speed environment to meet their growing and changing needs. We were surprised to read a press release issued by the Intellisoft Group on December 4, 2009 that claimed that they were the only vendor offering the SaaS deployment option, as we have been providing our solutions in a hosted environment for nearly three years.”

“SaaS provides our client base with a combination of best in class software and hardware. It offers our clients the opportunity to utilize these services during harsh economic times, where capital budget funding is difficult to obtain." said Mr. Littrell. “Many existing clients have chosen to upgrade to our SaaS offerings in order to fully utilize our advanced functionality when they have limited IT and financial resources.

HealthLine Systems offers EchoCredentialing, web-based credentialing and provider management software; EchoQuality, an integrated and comprehensive quality management software solution that supports patient safety and regulatory compliance initiatives; and EchoAccess, healthcare's first fully web-enabled contact center solution with a web-browser user interface. All product lines are offered as SaaS and as installed solutions.

HealthLine Systems has a long history of market innovation. “We were one of the first credentialing software developers when we released MedicalStaffLine in 1987. We released the first multi-entity provider data management solution in 1992 and the industry’s first fully enabled web solution Echo, in 2000”, said Littrell. “We will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2010 and look forward to continuing our mission of partnering with our clients to enhance the health of their constituents.”

HealthLine Systems client base represents over a thousand distinguished healthcare organizations in 50 states, Canada and Mexico. Incorporated in 1985, HealthLine is privately held and based in San Diego, California. HealthLine is committed to provide peerless information management solutions to maximize the quality and delivery of healthcare services through technological innovation.
