Henley-Putnam University, a leading online university specializing in Strategic Security, announced it will host a free webinar, Insider's Guide to Careers in Intelligence Analysis. The webinar is Part 2 of Henley-Putnam's exclusive "Insider's Guide" webinar series, where former intelligence and law enforcement officers discuss education and career opportunities in federal law enforcement, intelligence, terrorism and counterterrorism, and personal protection.

Author and adjunct professor Thomas B. Hunter will lead Insider's Guide to Careers in Intelligence Analysis, which takes place Thursday, December 17, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM PST. "Intelligence analysis is one of the most in-demand careers in the entire intelligence community," said Mr. Hunter. "Fortunately, it also offers many individuals, new to the intel profession, an opportunity to enter this wide-ranging field at the ground level."

During the webinar on December 17, Mr. Hunter will provide an introduction to careers in intelligence analysis, including a discussion of counterterrorism, human factors in terrorism, weapons systems, detainee support, Homeland Security, and counterdrug intelligence. He will also offer a breakdown of the different agencies and their missions, including the DIA, and explain the "need-to-know" process (along with other related dynamics), language skills, and what those interested in the profession should know about background clearance checks for analysts.
