Kevin Faulk of New England Patriots and Coastal Nissan Team Up to Support Wellspring Multiservice Organization

Coastal Nissan and Kevin Faulk partnered for the 2nd year with Hull’s Wellspring Multi-Service Center to assist South Shore families in need. Tom Norton of Coastal Nissan and Faulk delivered $2,200 to Wellspring this week during a check presentation at the Norwell, MA dealership.

"This promotion provides extra motivation for me in November. Wellspring is a great organization that helps out people in tough situations," said Kevin Faulk.

Coastal Nissan’s annual promotion has generated $6,000 and donations of food for charity partner, Wellspring, in just two years.

During the month of November, Coastal Nissan pledged $100 for each catch and first down made by Kevin Faulk; he made 12 catches and 10 first downs last month, generating the dealership’s donation. "This promotion provides extra motivation for me in November. Wellspring is a great organization that helps out people in tough situations. It feels good to do my best and benefit others, too," said Mr. Faulk.

Coastal Nissan also sponsored a collection drive for food and personal care donations, offering participating customers a discount on vehicle services at both locations (Norwell and Cohasset) in exchange for donations of cash or food to Wellspring.

"Over the past nine years, we've grown our business by being good community citizens and treating our customers well,” says Mr. Tom Norton, co-owner of Coastal Nissan. “We’re thrilled to give back to the community, and hope our efforts will help people during these challenging times."

Mr. Vinny Harte, executive director of Wellspring, says the partnership with Coastal Nissan has provided immediate relief for local families. “Wellspring is so grateful to Coastal Nissan their ongoing support during these difficult times,” says Mr. Harte. “Their generosity helps us to fulfill our mission of helping people become more independent, productive members of the community.” He also noted that the partnership has served as a great opportunity to educate the public about Wellspring, and its year-round efforts to assist struggling families.

Mr. Richard Walker, also a Coastal Nissan co-owner, says the dealership is committed to serving the community beyond its core business. “We look forward to our ongoing partnership with Wellspring, and hope to continue finding new, creative ways to positively impact the South Shore,” says Mr. Walker.

In addition to its partnership with Wellspring, Coastal Nissan has sponsored an “Athlete of the Month” program since 2007, which honors a local high school athlete each month with a $500 donation to the school’s athletic fund.
