Proud to be a part of Mayor-Elect Kasim Reed's winning strategy.

Digital strategy agency WebStrong Group congratulates Atlanta Mayor-elect Kasim Reed on a successful campaign and well earned victory. WebStrong Group provided digital communications consulting and website development for former Georgia State Senator Kasim Reed’s campaign, working with the Campaign Director and New Media Director to develop, implement and execute Kasim Reed’s winning online strategy.

“When we first spoke with then-Senator Reed in January, we knew immediately that he was a strong voice of positive change for Atlanta, and we immediately signed on to help him develop and implement a digital strategy that exemplified the progress he would bring as Atlanta’s next Mayor,” said WebStrong Group Partner, Todd Webster.

Kasim Reed’s campaign was an early adopter of WebStrong Group’s Netroots Organizing Platform that provides political campaigns access to a suite of online tools including a powerful social networking application to engage supporters both online and in their communities.

“Kasim Reed’s campaign understood the importance of tapping into online communities to find and engage supporters,” said WebStrong Group Managing Director Seth Oldmixon. “Working with Justin Tanner, Reed’s New Media Director, and his Campaign Manager Tharon Johnson, we were able to develop an online campaign that resonated with the people of Atlanta. The result of this strategy – uniting people behind Kasim Reed – will help move Atlanta forward.”

Kasim Reed was confirmed as Mayor-elect of Atlanta on December 10, and will be sworn in as Atlanta’s next Mayor on January 4, 2010.
