Centegra Health System has been awarded a gold Well Workplace Award from the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) for its Wellness for Life program. WELCOA is dedicated to helping organizations of all kinds build and sustain results-oriented wellness programs. There are only three winners of the Gold Award in 2009 from Illinois including Centegra Health System.
The WELCOA Gold Award is for the Centegra Health System Associate Wellness Program called Wellness for Life, a special and unique benefit offered to Centegra Associates through the Total Rewards@Work benefits program.
“Centegra believes that if Associates are healthy and well, they are better able to serve customers and the community. Centegra cares about its Associates and the community,” said Celine Pope, wellness manager for Centegra Health System.

Centegra Health System’s Wellness for Life program includes health risk appraisals with valuable screenings, on-site wellness programming including and walking program and an email support group, lunch and learns on a variety of wellness-related topics throughout the year, discounted Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center memberships and more.
