Coherent Solutions Works Over 600k Hours 2007-2009

Coherent Solutions announced it has surpassed 600,000 hours in billable project work for the period covering 2007-2009. Services performed for customers included software development, quality assurance testing, software maintenance, architecture, technology strategy, and process consulting.

Coherent Solutions, a Minneapolis-based software development outsourcing firm with offices in Minsk, Belarus, today announced it had surpassed 600,000 hours in billable project work for the period covering 2007-2009. During the period Coherent Solutions worked on projects for 56 different customers in both North America and Europe ranging from Fortune 500 organizations to pre-revenue venture startups with work concentrated in the software product industry.

Coherent performed a variety of services for these customers including software development, quality assurance testing, software maintenance, architecture and technology strategy, and process consulting. A majority of the systems were either web-related or mobile with a technology emphasis in the Microsoft, Java, and LAMP technology stacks where Coherent boasts its greatest expertise.

Coherent Solutions operates under two primary engagement models depending on the goals of the customer and the nature of the work to be performed. The Offshore Development Center (ODC) engagement model is used in those situations where the customer has a steady stream of work it wishes to outsource and seeks to create a stable sourcing relationship for the work. The Project engagement model is used in those instances where the customer is looking to outsource a specific scope of work on a project basis.
