Dots, Denver Center for the Performing Arts Web sites Recognized with W3 Awards for Outstanding Web sites

Together with Xylem, we created a uniquely branded web site that took our in-store fashion party and brought it to life online. Dots.com is an environment where fashion conscious, value minded customers are free to explore fashion in a distinctively unique way. Our web site has proven to be a great tool to develop digital relationships with our in-store customer.

Xylem Digital (http://www.xylemdigital.com), one of the Rocky Mountain region’s leading digital advertising agencies, today announced that the Web sites it created for Dots (http://www.dots.com/) and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) (http://www.denvercenter.org) have won the Best in Show and Silver awards, respectively, in the annual W3 Awards judged and sanctioned by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA).

Receiving nearly 3,000 entries, The W3 Awards honor outstanding Web sites, Web Marketing, and Web Video created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers and creators worldwide.

“It is humbling to be recognized for work as varying as the Dots and DCPA web sites by the prestigious IAVA and W3 Awards program,” said Scott Snyder, Xylem Principal. “No matter the client or industry, at Xylem we are specialists in developing and building on focused brand strategy and bringing to life creative web sites that connect with users in meaningful ways.”

The Dots site that Xylem created received top honors with the Best in Show distinction in the awards program. The Web site aimed to extend Dots’ well-known “Fashion Party” experience online to its diverse female audience. One of the innovative features of Dots.com is the Dots “Lookbook.” The community-based “Lookbook” enables Dots customers to pre-shop Dots fashions and add them to their own virtual closet.

“We are thrilled to be recognized for our Web site among a strong group of competitors,” said Rick Bunka, Dots President. “Together with Xylem, we created a uniquely branded web site that took our in-store fashion party and brought it to life online. Dots.com is an environment where fashion conscious, value minded customers are free to explore fashion in a distinctively unique way.
