Fans Put Their Twist on X Factor Winner Joe Mcelderry's Debut Single

As Joe McElderry prepares for what could be his first Christmas No.1, fans flock to The X Factor’s official karaoke site to record their own version of his first release.

Joe McElderry recently became the sixth person to be crowned winner of The X Factor, beating Olly Murs to claim the top prize of a life changing recording contract.

His debut single, a cover of Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’, is already available to buy and looks set to become Christmas No.1 - but this year fans of The X Factor are able to do more than simply buy the single in support of their hero.

With the launch of The X Factor Karaoke in September, fans are able to sing and record a cover version of ‘The Climb’ online, share their performances, and participate in a thriving online community of both amateur and professional singers.

To many of the show’s avid followers, The X Factor 2010 will seem a long way away - but The X Factor Karaoke will aim to provide the perfect place for fans of the show to continue The X Factor experience online.
