The Los Angeles design firm, Franklin Studios, took part in the much anticipated opening of Aria Casino, the final piece of MGM Mirage’s grand collection of buildings that make up the Las Vegas City Center.

As the doors opened for the first time, guests were treated not only to fine Champagne and Caviar, but also to an environment equal in subtlety and elegance. City Center was formed by an extraordinary list of designers and architects and it was a list Franklin Studios was pleased to be on.

Light Group, the enormously successful international entertainment development company, brought Franklin Studios to the table after seeing such Los Angeles projects as SBE’s Foxtail and Abode Restaurant in Santa Monica. The result of the collaboration was The Deuce Lounge, an ultra-chic club that combines high-end gaming with the sophisticated nightlife Light Group has become renowned for.

On the night of Aria’s opening, The Deuce drew in a sharply dressed crowd with its moody atmosphere and intricate wood screen walls, and they did not seem inclined to leave until the wee hours of the night.
