Children feel empowered when they take pride in their individuality. We created Little Write Brain to help children express themselves through storytelling and art using an online format.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) December 22, 2009
Little Write Brain, Inc. of Chicago announced today the official commercial launch of its website LittleWriteBrain.com, an education and media site allowing parents and their children to develop highly customizable storybooks. While the site is primarily tailored for children age 3 to 7, people of all ages will enjoy visiting LittleWriteBrian.com.
Little Write Brain’s fun and easy-to-use proprietary online tools offer children a special opportunity not only to star in their own storybook series, but also author and illustrate them. Each storybook’s characters, plot, illustrations, title and cover art can be customized by children and their parents through the Story Builder and Character Builder modules. This distinctive literary process enables children to develop storybooks that capture and celebrate the uniqueness of their families, backgrounds, interests and experiences.
Little Write Brain customers will be able to save unlimited characters and storybooks in their accounts, as well as upload photographs of young authors. All books are printed, bound and shipped from a fulfillment center in Pennsylvania. Each book costs $24.99 USD and includes free standard shipping.
Little Write Brain was founded by Ila Mehta, a graduate of The University of Chicago and mother of two children. Disenchanted with the commercialization and uniformity of contemporary literature aimed at young children, Ms. Mehta envisioned an interactive web-based storybook creation software that would allow children to develop one-of-a-kind stories and illustrations that were truly reflective of their unique households and backgrounds. She explains, “Children feel empowered when they take pride in their individuality. We created Little Write Brain to help children express themselves through storytelling and art using an online format.”
