Theatrical storyline vows to bring the exiled to their Savior

We live in a world plagued by child abuse, rape, teen sex chat rooms, family murder-suicide, human and drug trafficking, and much more. Author Arleen Logan's new release, Awaken to the Island of Destruction ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60791-827-1), is a theatrical storyline that produces and ministers the hope that viewers will read and reach individuals who suffered form these events. Brought to life in sixteen laughable, twisted, and emotional scenes, this play will offer a moveable message that engraves an unexpected wake-up call within viewers' hearts.

"Awaken provides immediate heart-throbbing, steer-leveled suspense with comic appeal," the author says. "The book will give readers (especially teens) spirited direction, laughs, and awareness. [It] is not just another Christian play; each scene delivers a dramatically different tale. Each scene with its characters will take readers to an unexpected climax where storylines are difficult to swallow."

In 1992, Ms. Logan started a timeless journey through the historical lanes regarding tragic events of the 20th and 21st centuries. This was when God gifted her with the ideas and vision for the play. And although writing always came naturally for this visionary playwright, "the graphic details were overwhelming and heartbreaking while preparing this story," the author says. "[Viewers will see that] we cannot stop the approach that carries uncertainty. Our trials and tribulation will be tested during the storm, but thank God for the springtime."
