Bariatric Advantage has developed a proprietary mobile web application named “iCompli®”. The app is designed to remind bariatric surgical patients when to take their vitamins based on their physician protocols by simply notifying the patient during their busy days via a simple text message to their mobile phone. iCompli® will work with any mobile device or carrier including iPhone and BlackBerry. The system also accommodates notifications via email.

Every bariatric patient and every bariatric surgical program can leverage 'iCompli" to help their respective patients stay compliant with their very important nutritional protocols. The process is easy to use and instructions are provided using the adjacent video or by visiting http://www.bariatricadvantage.com and clicking on the iCompli tab at the top of the page. All products currently being ordered from the company will present graphically above a calendar and the patient merely drags and drops a product onto the calendar at the desired time to be notified. The patient then selects the number of tablets or units to be consumed at that time. Once this is complete a window will open allowing the patient to put in their mobile phone number, select their carrier and then select their time zone. The patient is then ready to receive messages throughout the day to help remind them to stay compliant with their physician’s directions.

“Over the years we have listened to our clients and the many patients who have struggled to stay on track with their new post-op lifestyle, including consistently taking their vitamins. We believe that iCompli will provide a valuable aid to help alleviate this ongoing issue,” said Tom Kinder, President and C.E.O. of Bariatric Advantage.
