Rochester, NY Popular online t-shirt retailer puts the call out to amateur designers; winner to be chosen by popular vote.
Crazydogtshirts.com has recently unveiled a t-shirt design contest, putting the call out to all designers who think they have what it takes to design a shirt worthy of the popular site's comprehensive product line. Designers are asked to submit as many t-shirt designs as they wish to be evaluated by the Crazy Dog team. Those designs that are chosen through this evaluation will be posted on crazydogtshirts.com, Facebook, and Twitter, where people will assign designs with a score of 1-5. First, second, third, and fourth place t-shirt designs will be chosen based upon the results of this scoring process.
The first place t-shirt design winner will receive $500 cash and six free t-shirts, the second place winner will receive $150 cash and five free t-shirts, the third place winner will receive $100 and three free t-shirts, and the fourth place winner will receive $50 and two free t-shirts. All four designs will be included in the Crazy Dog product line.
"At Crazy Dog we are all about having fun with fashion; we have built a strong reputation for giving our customers an extensive selection of cool t shirts that are fun and affordable," says Crazy Dog owner, Bill Kingston. "But more than anything we are an accessible company that values its customers' input. This is what this contest ultimately means."
With a continually growing online following, Crazy Dog puts a unique slant on the typical t-shirt through its comprehensive, easy-to-navigate website where shoppers are likely to find anything but the ordinary. Selections of t shirts available through Crazy Dog include everything from vintage tees to those honoring beloved movies, memorable one-liners, and video game classics. From their homage to 80s television - such as their t shirt tribute to the television classics, Golden Girls and Baywatch - to their all out assault on anything worthy of a laugh (check out their Amish Gone Wild shirt!), Crazy Dog's Funny t shirts are the voice of a generation.
In this role, Crazy Dog has remained committed to ensuring that their customers' voices are regularly heard. In fact, the site's current contest is just one more recent way that the company has reached out to its customers on a regular basis. Visitors to Crazy Dog will find that they have the opportunity to always submit t-shirt designs that will be considered for inclusion on the site, as well as earning them cash and free t-shirts. Additionally, Crazy Dog conducts free t-shirt giveaways twice a month in which a random winner is chosen from among contest entrants, and customers can also earn free t-shirts by submitting pictures of themselves wearing a Crazy Dog t-shirt design.
Owner, Bill Kingston considers the $500 t-shirt contest another way to stay in touch with pop culture, as well as discover new designers.
"Crazy Dog takes the t-shirt to the next level. If it's hot, if it's fun, if it's something that people remember or are currently talking about, we put it on a t-shirt," says Kingston. "And the next best design may be out there waiting to be discovered."
Crazy Dog will accept design entries through May 4, 2009 and those interested in submitting artwork can do so through the website. Qualified designs will be uploaded to the website, as well as Facebook and Twitter following the May 4th close date.
As an online purveyor of novelty, vintage, and all types of funny t shirts, Crazy Dog T-Shirts cater to an audience that wants to express their unique personalities and do so affordably.
