My work in Christmas at Maxwell's represents a 'renewed' facet in my artistic life!

The Laufer Film's holiday release, Christmas at Maxwell's Laufer Film made progress establishing itself as a new Christmas classic film at MIPCOM this year. The movie stars Andrew May and Jack "Jacqueline" Hourigan.

"My work in Christmas at Maxwell's represents a 'renewed' facet in my artistic life!" said May. May's film career has included a small part in Striking Distance with Bruce Willis and several television performances but May sees light at the end of this new tunnel.

May recently completed work as the Associate Artistic Director of the Great Lakes Theater Festival. The ailing arts organization was forced to lay off May. Producing artistic director Charlie Fee said May is "an extraordinary actor, phenomenal, and a great guy, and this kind of decision is horrible," but Fee followed up by saying that his action was also tied to problematic contributed income. Fee said "he was forced to cut staff to meet drops in ticket sales". However, both Charlie Fee and Cleveland play House artistic director Michael Bloom said that they "want May onstage beyond next season".

Some of Andrew May's past stage work includes The Ghost, in Hamlet; Orgon, in Tartuffe; Cratchit, A Christmas Carol; Elyot, Private Lives; Petruchio, The Taming of the Shrew; Director, A Christmas Carol; Master Ford, The Merry Wives of Windsor; Kolenkhov, You Can't Take It With You; Antonio Salieri, Amadeus; Don Armado, Love's Labour's Lost; Director, The Tempest; Mortimer Brewster, Arsenic and Old Lace; Angelo, Measure for Measure; John Proctor, The Crucible; Topper, A Christmas Carol; Antipholi of Syracuse; Ephesus, The Comedy of Errors and Trigorin, The Seagull.
