IntertechPira is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Sustainable Fragrances conference, scheduled for May 20-21, 2010 at the Hotel Monaco Alexandria in Alexandria, VA. This year's program will bring together industry experts, suppliers, manufacturers, researchers and end users for a balanced, comprehensive discussion of the opportunities and challenges surrounding regulations, standards and technology updates in the fragrance supply chain.
"Creating truly sustainable products and keeping up with new technologies touches a wide variety of industries, so for this year’s conference we expanded to bring together the cleaning products industry, the personal care industry, fragrance manufacturers and the suppliers of raw materials for the fragrance industry," said Christine Groff, conference director at IntertechPira. "The Sustainable Fragrances 2010 program will offer numerous chances to network with leaders in the industry, as well as give attendees an opportunity to learn about changes to existing standards and discuss ways to untangle the intricate fragrance supply chain."
The advisory committee is composed of Jennifer Abril, Executive Director, Fragrance Materials Association (FMA); Lauren Heine, Senior Science Advisor, Clean Production Action and Dr. Ladd Smith, President, Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM). The conference will feature approximately 18 expert presentations assessing market trends, technical development and application related advances through presentations, question-and-answer sessions and panel discussions. Throughout the conference, there will be a number of hosted luncheons, breaks and receptions, which will be held in and around the exhibit area located outside the main conference room. Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities will be available.
