Indie Musician Catman Cohen delivers his third music CD -- a musical quest for Truth in a world of broken dreams -- then speculates about why the public is yearning to dream again.

In a world drowning in corruption, cynicism, and despair.... in which entrenched elites seem to thrive at the expense of the common man.....we ache to dream again

Four years in the making, "How I Want to Dream: the Catman Chronicles 3," is now available exclusively at CD Baby, the third CD release from mysterious shadow musician, Catman Cohen, and produced/arranged by Grammy Award winner, James Lum.

"How I Want to Dream" features an eclectic mix of songs with epic divine chorals wrapped around Cohen's signature deep bullfrog voice. Soaring classical strings meet passionate electric rock in themes both provocative and heart-rending. However, whether Cohen sings about an erotic journey into the core of a French woman's soul or offers up a "Hallelujah" to a lover who once tortured him mercilessly, the common thread is the exploration of dreams in all their permutations.

"In a world drowning in corruption, cynicism, and despair.... in which entrenched elites seem to thrive at the expense of the common man.....we ache to dream again," stated Catman Cohen. "For example, the huge popular response received by overnight TV sensation, Susan Boyle, when she sang, I Dreamed a Dream, is not merely a reaction to the woman's outstanding singing voice, but also speaks to the fact that people connect strongly with the song lyrics, yearning for a return to happier times 'when hope was high and life worth living,' or 'when we were young and unafraid.' In Susan Boyle,...unemployed, disrespected, and ostensibly blemished... we see a person who is a metaphor for our own dreams, insofar as her unexpected victory against all obstacles."

Featuring a total of 12 songs, "How I Want to Dream" is described as a quest for Truth in a world of broken dreams.    Twenty percent of proceeds will be donated to Gesundheit Institute and Volunteers Without Boundaries, two charities dedicated to the alleviation of pain and suffering throughout the world.
