(PRWEB) December 8, 2009
iCongo Inc., the North American leading provider of end-to-end e-commerce, multi-channel and marketing systems announced today that U.S. Kids Golf, the number one worldwide brand in junior golf and organizer of junior golf tournaments, has successfully completed the launch of a brand new multi-purpose e-commerce site with ICE3 E-Commerce Platform.
U.S. Kids Golf’s e-commerce requirements were unique in that the organization established The U.S. Kids Golf Foundation in 2001, a not-for-profit with the purpose of providing education and competition events to children. The goal of the new site was to launch a fully transactional storefront establishing a U.S. Kids Golf’s e-commerce channel.
iCongo’s ICE3 E-Commerce Platform allows U.S. Kids Golf to present golf clubs categorized by size making navigation more logical for visitors and includes “fit by height” and “fit by driver swing speed” reference charts for more accurate purchases. Visitors seeking information on golf clubs are able to switch between left and right handed clubs directly on the product page.
The site allows for user account creation and management so customers can manage their addresses, retrieve past orders, view and track active orders, manage their wish list and register for any of the more than 400 annual tournaments. Completely integrated with U.S. Kids Golf’s Microsoft Dynamics ERP and its third-party logistics provider, product information, customer data, order details and status updates are available in real-time.
“iCongo has delivered a storefront that is feature-rich, easy-to-maintain, includes a call center module, CRM, email management and is able to support our merchandise and events requirements. With our new e-commerce site we have not only refreshed our brand but obtained the tools needed to better service our customers,” commented Dan Van Horn, President and CEO of U.S. Kids Golf. “Another initiative we have with iCongo is to build a client community directly on our website. We decided to partner with iCongo so that we could continue to leverage the platform, evolve the site, and engage with customers in a secure portal.”
“Aligning the business goals of our clients with the technology is important to building solid relationships and ensuring a successful partnership. U.S. Kids Golf is a perfect example of iCongo’s ICE3’s ability to address special business requirements, as demonstrated by the platform supporting both their tournament portal and a full e-commerce website that allows customers to easily navigate between the three distinct sections education, tournaments and e-commerce,” stated Irwin Kramer, CEO of iCongo.
