Lake of the Torches Resort Casino’s marketing team led by industry executive Michael J. Broderick was presented with three Romero Awards and five honorable mentions at the annual Romero Awards held during the 2009 Casino Marketing Conference at the Paris Las Vegas. The Romero Awards recognize the most significant achievements and innovation during the previous year in casino marketing and promotions in the gaming industry.
On behalf of Lake of the Torches Resort Casino, Director of Marketing Michael J. Broderick and Marketing Manager Leana Schlecht accepted two Gold Awards, one Silver Award and five honorable mentions during the conference where the gaming industry recognizes the top gaming facilities for their innovation, creativity and execution of casino marketing throughout the world. The Romero Awards are named after John Romero, acknowledged as the pioneer in casino marketing, and are considered the standard for excellence in casino marketing. Lake of the Torches received more awards than any other property in the mid-west.
