Siteworx Completes Glimpse.org Web Site Development and Enables Young Americans to Share Stories of Life Overseas via Web 2.0 Technology
Interactive Website Leverages Django Open Source Web Application Framework

Glimpse is a nonprofit organization, supported in part by National Geographic Society. Glimpse's mission is to share stories from abroad that change the way young Americans think about the overseas experience and challenge them to explore the world.
With the re-launch of its website, developed by Siteworx on the Python-based Django open source Web application framework, Glimpse now provides an engaging and interactive online forum where internationally minded youth can share their experiences and connect.
Featuring stories, photography, insider tips, and blogs created by young Americans living overseas, Glimpse.org is home to a growing community of people who think, act, and live globally.
To support this user-generated content model, Siteworx leveraged the Django Web application framework to implement a robust back-end and content management system (CMS. Siteworx also optimized the online editorial review process through the creation of a professional editorial workflow system for the approval of user-submitted content.
